VirusBurst, also known as VirusBurster, is a rogue anti-spyware program that may get inside your system through a trojan downloader. Virusburst displays ads that look similar to regular Windows update messages. Be careful! You may be lured into clicking on that message. The false Windows update messages states:
"System detected virus activities. They may cause critical system failure. Please, use anti-malware software to clean and protect your system from parasite programs. Click this balloon to get all available software."
After you click on the message, you will be redirected to the Virusburst website where you'll be convinced into buying its promoted full version. Once Virusburst is installed, it may install addtional spyware on your computer. Virusburst is a variant of VirusRescue and SpywareQuake and a clone of VirusBlast.
