Spy Sheriff, a clone of Pest Trap, is a rogue anti-spyware application that can infect your system without you being aware of it. SpySheriff may come bundled with other third party applications or you may get the parasite when visiting certain websites. Once SpySheriff is installed, it will start showing fake messages stating that your computer is infected with spyware and that you need to purchase their full version in order to remove it.
