PSGuard

PSGuard is a rogue anti-spyware program with an ability to change your Windows wallpaper and replace it with false security messages stating that your computer system is in danger. This deceptive tactics is designed in order to goad you into buying full commercial version of PSGuard or other similar rogue anti-spyware programs. PSGuard uses a root-kit in order to protect the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ShudderLTD, which makes it difficult to uninstall manually.
